Mere Bewafa is a Pakistani drama about love, betrayal, and the complex consequences of secrets. The story revolves around Azra (played by Sarah Khan), a devoted and loyal wife, married to Shahmeer (Agha Ali). However, Shahmeer had a hidden past: he was secretly married to Azra’s childhood friend Mona (Zhalay Sarhadi), with whom he had children. The marriage was kept secret. When the truth begins to surface, Azra is devastated. Mona, encouraged by Shahmeer’s in-laws (especially the sisters-in-law), moves into the same house, claiming her rights as Shahmeer’s other wife and expecting a baby. Azra, who is also pregnant, faces emotional distress as Mona takes over her room and position in the household. Her in-laws pit her against Mona, forcing her out of her space. While Azra struggles, the family tensions escalate. Eventually Azra finds strength, confronts her rights, and tries to fight for her place in the family. Betrayals, secret marriages, and emotional abuse dominate the plot. Toward the end, Azra stakes her claim for justice and respect in her marriage, even amid miscarriage, humiliation, and family conspiracies.
